Langkawi, also known as the Jewel of Kedah earns the top spot as Best Holiday Island in Malaysia at the Malaysia Tourism Industry Award 2022. Held at Royale Chulan, Kuala Lumpur last night, this award recognises industry players for their tremendous effort in boosting and elevating the tourism sector. On a separate note, Nadias Hotel Langkawi bagged the award for Best 3 Star Hotel (Sea View) during the special occasion.

Commenting on this incredible achievement, Mr. Nasaruddin Abdul Muttalib, Langkawi Development Authority’s (LADA) Chief Executive Officer said, “We are extremely honoured and pleased to be recognised for our efforts in positioning Langkawi as the tourist destination of choice and for promoting the island on a global stage. While faced with many trials and tribulations throughout the pandemic, we remained positive and optimistic that we would be able to take Langkawi to great heights.”
